The witching hour is upon us... but we'd rather set the clock back, as we endure the trial of Anton LaVey's worst book, The Satanic Witch. Back in Episode 24, we gave our infernal opinions about Church of Satan founder Anton LaVey’s The Satanic Bible, but LaVey wrote many more books after that, including in 1971 a slim pink volume now published under the title The Satanic Witch. This is a how-to guide for Satanist women to gain power and influence -- but mostly just by way of bewitching men’s zippers. Is this LaVey’s worst book? We sure as Hell hope so.
