Episode 04 - Getting Your Goat: The History of Baphomet
Who – or more specifically, WHAT – is Baphomet? The BMA hosts discuss the mysterious goat-headed figure’s likely origins, and also break down the symbolism contained within. As a common symbol of Satanism, Baphomet and its artistic representations are loaded with meaning to those in the know as well as outsiders. We also discuss a Christian preacher’s call for Baphomet’s removal… although since the Baphy statue is only housed at the TST headquarters in Salem, we’re not sure what he’s so worked up about. We also preview our upcoming “Satanic Chick Tract” project, and figure out what kind of Satanic tattoo Daniel should get.
