Episode 02 - The Drawn Devil: Satan in Cartoons
In this episode, hosts Simone, Daniel, and Tabitha go back to childhood (or at least to last Saturday morning), and examine depictions of the devil in animation. Funny devils like Satan from South Park and scary demons like Chernabog from Fantasia make appearances as we discuss how potent these cartoons can be, and what it says about the way we teach children lessons about morality. Also in this episode we talk about After School Satan, and our experiences with expected religious participation.
