For years, some law enforcement agencies have replaced the faces of traditional playing card decks with images of missing and murdered people and distributed those cards in prisons hoping inmates would come forward with information needed to crack these cold cases wide open. Now, audiochuck is dealing you in. Each week, we will be working with investigators and family members to bring you the details of some of the coldest cases from around the country in hopes that someone listening can finally bring these victims the justice they deserve.

Dana Chisholm (Jack of Diamonds, Washington, D.C.)
Our card this week is Dana Chisholm, the Jack of Diamonds from Washington, D.C.I’ve been telling victims’ stories for 6½ years now. I’ve been a consumer of them for even longer. And in all that time, few stories have haunted me the way Dana’s has. Her killer was bold, so confident police would never catch him, that he taunted them. And for nearly 30 years, he’s been able to get away with it. But I think that’s coming to an end. Because even though it seems like he tried to do everything he could to erase himself from Dana’s apartment and her life, it looks like he didn’t cover all his tracks. He may have just left something behind that could finally give him away.If you have any information about the murder of Dana Chisholm in February of 1995 in Washington, D.C., please contact the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099, or remain anonymous by texting your tip to MPD’s Text Tip Line at 50411. There is a $25,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in the homicide of Dana Chisholm. Dana’s case is one we wanted you to see with your own eyes. So for the first time ever….. we’re inviting you to watch this episode with us as a VIDEO! Joe Laughlin (Jack of Diamonds, South Carolina)
Our card this week is Joe Laughlin, the Jack of Spades from South Carolina.54-year-old Joe was a true “country guy", living a simple life in Anderson, South Carolina in 2012. He was a husband, father, provider, and handyman. It didn’t take much to make him happy. All he needed in life was his family, his work shed, and an ice-cold beer. Why someone would want to gun him down inside his own home remains a mystery, even over a decade after his death. To this day, Joe’s widow has never remarried. She’s still living at their same little house, with Joe’s picture hanging up on the wall, waiting for the day when justice will finally prevail. If you have any information about the murder of Joe Laughlin in Anderson, South Carolina in 2012, please call the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office at 864-260-4400, or you can speak with Sergeant Kendall Cash directly at 864-209-0582. Bobby Ray Jones (8 of Clubs, Florida)
Our card this week is Bobby Ray Jones, the 8 of Clubs from Florida.Bobby Ray Jones had just moved back to Walton County, Florida, in the late summer of 1971. It was a rebirth-of-sorts for this 33-year-old man. After getting caught up in a love affair and running off to Alabama, he had only recently returned to the sunshine state to try and reconcile with his wife. And seemingly, he was on track to do just that. He had already found a new job and a place to stay. Things were starting to turn around. So much so, that on September 29th, he even told his “mama” she had no reason to worry about him… and that he didn’t have “an enemy in the world.” But the very next morning, Bobby Ray was murdered… If you have any information about the death of Bobby Ray Jones in Darlington, FL, in 1971, please call the Walton County Sheriff’s Office at 850-892-8111, or remain anonymous by calling the Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-TIPS (8477) View source material and photos for this episode at: thedeckpodcast.com/bobby-ray-jones/ Let us deal you in… follow The Deck on social media.Instagram: @thedeckpodcast | @audiochuckTwitter: @thedeckpodcast_ | @audiochuckFacebook: /TheDeckPodcast | /audiochuckllcTo apply for a Cold Case Playing Card grant through Season of Justice, please visit www.seasonofjustice.org The Deck is hosted by Ashley Flowers.
