Belle Gunness - Part 3
Belle Gunness is one of the craziest serial killers, having possibly killed over 40 people. She would lure men to her house and they would never be seen again. Motivated by greed, she was driven to kill a mass number of people—the exact number, we might never be sure of. Motivated by greed, she was driven to kill a mass number of people—the exact number, we might never be sure of. Children in La Porte, Indiana grow up listening to graphic horror stories about the gruesome murder’s committed by Belle Gunness on her farm at the end of McClung Road. The most disturbing part about these grisly stories is that the gory parts are not fiction. Belle Gunness (also known as Lady Bluebeard, The LaPorte Black Widow, The Mistress of Murder Farm, and Hell’s Belle) was probably one of America’s most prolific serial killers who likely killed between 25 and 30 people, including women and children, at the turn of the 20th century. William Devin Howell | Sick Ripper feat. Anne K. Howard - Part 2
William Devin Howell is an American serial killer who was convicted of murdering seven people in 2003. He is believed to have been the most prolific serial killer in Connecticut history. In November 2017, while already serving a 15-year prison sentence for manslaughter, he was sentenced to six consecutive life sentences. The victims were identified as 7 women. Their bodies were discovered behind a shopping plaza on Hartford Road in New Britain, beginning in 2007. The person who discovered the bodies had been looking for hunting ground. The area is wooded and marshy and is inaccessible by car, which delayed the investigation and recovery of the victims. Anne K. Burke and Hare
The Burke and Hare murders were a series of 16 murders committed over a period of about ten months in 1828 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The killings were undertaken by William Burke and William Hare, who sold the corpses to Doctor Robert Knox for dissection at his anatomy lectures. Edinburgh was a leading European centre of anatomical study in the early 19th century, in a time when the demand for cadavers led to a shortfall in legal supply. Scottish law required that corpses used for medical research should only come from those who had died in prison, suicide victims, or from foundlings and orphans. The shortage of corpses led to an increase in grave robbing by what were known as resurrection men. Measures to ensure graves were left undisturbed exacerbated the shortage. When a lodger in Hare's house died, he turned to his friend Burke for advice and they decided to sell the body to Knox. They received what was, for them, the generous sum of £7 10s. A little over two months later, when Hare was concerned that a lodger suffering from fever would deter others from staying in the house, he and Burke murdered her and sold the body to Knox. The men continued their murder spree, probably with the knowledge of their wives. Burke and Hare's actions were uncovered after other lodgers discovered their last victim, Margaret Docherty, and called the police. The Bloody Benders
The Bloody Benders were a family of serial killers who lived and operated in Labette County, Kansas from 1871 to 1873. The family consisted of John Bender; his wife, Elvira Bender; son, John, Jr.; and daughter, Kate. While Bender mythology holds that John Jr. and Kate were brother and sister, contemporary newspapers reported that several of the Benders' neighbors had stated that they claimed to be married, possibly a common law marriage. It is believed that the Benders killed at least a dozen travelers before their crimes were discovered and the family fled, with their fate uncertain. Much folklore and legend surround the Benders, making it difficult to separate fact from fiction. Bruce McArthur feat. Sasha Reid
Bruce McArthur, a former self-employed landscaper, is charged with eight counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of missing men from Church and Wellesley, Toronto's gay village. He pleaded guilty to assault against a gay man in another case in 2003. Police have found human remains of several men in planters and in private gardens, where McArthur has worked as a landscape gardener. So far, the investigation has shown that he found many of his alleged victims through online dating apps for men who have sex with men, stating that he wanted to meet submissive men. His alleged victims were predominantly gay men of South Asian or Middle Eastern origin. Richard Cottingham | The New York Ripper - Part 3 feat. Jenn Weiss
Richard Francis Cottingham (born November 25, 1946) is an American serial killer from New Jersey operating in New York between 1967 and 1980. Cottingham was given several nicknames including "The Butcher of Times Square", "The Torso Killer", "The New York (city) Ripper", and "The Times Square Torso Ripper" due to his habit of dismembering his victims, usually leaving nothing but a torso behind. Times Square in the 1970s was a seedy environment and Cottingham took full advantage as he searched for prostitutes to satisfy his desires. He was eventually convicted of murder in 1981, after being caught fleeing an attempted murder. Officially Cottingham killed six people but he claims between 85 and 100 murders. Cottingham is incarcerated in New Jersey State Prison in Trenton, New Jersey.
